Jiu-jitsu at its core, was developed for smaller, weaker individuals to defend themselves against larger and stronger opponents. With this principle in mind, we hear the term “leverage” thrown out a lot when it comes to that David and Goliath struggle. However, there are a number of other concepts that are applicable in achieving this objective of technique conquering strength.
